These workshops cultivate an atmosphere of exploration, play and fun, which encourages individual approaches and is suitable for beginners through to more experienced artists.

Foundation Art - The Basics Explored!
This foundation course is made up of a series of workshops that introduce the basics of art making with a focus on drawing and painting but also touching on sculpture, collage and print-making. Bookings essential - limited to a small group of nine participants

Making your Mark - Guided Workshops 3 Saturday Morning Workshops Starting again 2017
A variety of topics and mediums explored in a casual and informal setting. These workshops provide time to try new things, share ideas and begin to investigate how your work fits within a historic and contemporary art context. These workshops are Ideal for those who have undertaken some foundation workshops and are looking for the next step. Limited to a small group of participants, so book early to secure your spot!
Pathway to Exhibition - Mentoring to exhibit your work in a curated show!

Five Saturday Workshops which mentor artists in a supportive environment through the preparation of a small body of work for a group exhibition. Artists are given assistance in developing and selecting works to exhibit, identifying the ideas and concepts that underpin the work, writing clear artist's statements and understanding basic curating principles for exhibiting your work in public spaces.

Bookings are essential - limited to a small group. Those who have completed previous Art Studio Workshops will be given priority placements.

Terms and Conditions:
To avoid disappointment a term booking is recommended, unfortunately becasue places are limited, we cannot offer a refund if you are unable to attend class. Fees are non-refundable once classes commence and not automatically transferable to another term. If there are unforseen circumstances please discuss the matter with Julie Andrews. Should a class need to be cancelled due to insufficient student numbers or for other reasons students will be notified and either offered a similar course or a refund of the unused portion of the fees paid. ART studio WORKSHOPS reserves the right to alter arrangements for classes either before or during the term, and if a workshop is canceled a refund will be given and all efforts will be made to minimise inconvenience to students.
